![]() This is a gorgeous, powerhouse of a computer and I've never had this pleasant an experience with a computer before (but knew that a Mac would be so much more pleasant for me than Microsoft) and I want to keep it happy and running smooth for years to come. ![]() If not, I will proceed to remove it off of my Mac. I trust Skype, but want to make sure that it will be okay. Considering the fact that this is a relatively new iMac, and the week's worth of work and part replacements that the genius bar put into this machine (long story), I am very weary of what I should and shouldn't download. Once the session is started, you will see your avatar is displayed in the lower right corner of the screen (I need to update that picture, I don’t wear ties.) If you hover your mouse over your icon (or of that who is speaking) the current avatar will drop down a bit and show a pop out icon. I wanted to make absolutely sure that Skype is now fully compatible with Mac, and that it will not harm my computer. I wasn't sure exactly where to post this question, so I figured this would work. I have just downloaded Skype, a service I use on my iPad and iPhone 4, and previously used on my old PC laptop. However, the exciting news is that I've got a new 21.5" iMac with an intel core i3 processor and all the standards. It's been awhile since I've posted to the forum.
